State Guidelines on Prescribing Opiates
Many states have specific guidelines and policies that providers need to be aware of when prescribing opiates. Some states make recommendations and several states inact mandatory urine drug screening as a required component for treatment with long term opiod therapy. Please research your State's individual Medical and Opioid Treatment Guidelines for monitoring and prescribing information.
